The Home

Bryn Edwin Hall is a converted Regency House, that includes woodland and gardens set in the Flintshire countryside, in North East Wales. The rooms make the most of the views over the lovely grounds and surrounding countryside. The gardens are easily accessible and there are many quiet and secluded areas to relax and enjoy the atmosphere that this Grade II listed building offers.

It is registered for 33 residents by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales, providing residential care for men and women, over 60 years old.

The home provides care for clients that have an established diagnosis of a dementia. All rooms have washing facilities, with 14 with en-suite and all rooms exceed the nationally required standards.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing individual items such as photographs, pictures and ornaments. A memory box for each resident can also be created with the assistance of the resident and/or family. Each room is appropriately furnished and locks are fitted to bedrooms to ensure privacy. Each resident is offered the key to their own room should they wish to keep it locked and also a locked facility within their room. A master key is kept in the office for use in an emergency.

The home has a number of lounges and sitting areas in addition to well appointed dining rooms. In each bedroom and communal room, there is a nurse-call system available to ensure residents can request assistance from staff at any time of day or night. There is also a 4 person lift which enables access throughout the home. Relatives and friends are encouraged to visit as often as they like, and are at liberty to be involved as much or as little in their loved ones’ care as they choose.

Angharad Suite

Our purpose is to deliver high quality personalised care, in a well appointed residential setting for up to 16 people who have an established diagnosis of  dementia.

THE ANGHARAD SUITE is an extension designed as an attached purpose built, dedicated unit, offering residential accommodation and care to elderly people who are experiencing dementia. It affords a safe, spacious and comfortable environment, where security is limited to maintenance of our residents safety only by digital locks on the entrance and exits. Within the suite movement is generally unrestricted and this permits access to the garden, from which the scenery, stunning countryside views and wildlife can be enjoyed. Some rooms open directly onto the courtyard. Rooms vary in size and facilities, and residents are invited to personalize their room, from personal possessions, furniture, or color of decor.
